After the successful launch of Martin Merz’s third LP, Vordergrundmusik now presents the successor release.
Planet Henri is revisited by the likes of Legowelt, VRIL, and the label’s head Michael Schreiber.
Legowelt’s old-school approach enhances the already present retro touch of “A Long Way Home”, with a highly recognizable underlying acid bassline that we all came to love.
Michael Schreiber retains the edgy contour of “Albedo”, but prepares the track for a gloomy clubroom in two different versions.
Finally, VRIL, a regular performer at Berlin’s most prolific nightclubs and releases at Ostgut Ton and Fabric Records, absorbs the dark synth pads and builds a new drumatic structure around the original.
